On the 9th of May I drove 400 km’s South to outside the Town of Ystad to attend a 914 meeting, seeing how 914’s are pretty rare here it was an opportunity not to be missed. After four hours driving I arrived and the first thing is see is this gorgeous combo of the VW Buss pulling a 914-6 GT restoration. Yes, the GT is the real deal!
Four other drivable 914’s attended aswell and in the barn in the background was another restoration in progress. Lots of cartalk and some exchanging of parts and phone numbers and I headed back home again. 8 hours of driving and 800 km’s but soooo Worth every minute! See you all next year and then I hope to drive my own 914!
